Are Whiskerly products just for dogs or are they safe for other house pets?
All animals have endocannabinoid receptors, so our CBD products are completely safe + can be used for any house pet. We suggest referencing the recommended dosage by weight.
How do I administer or apply Whiskerly’s products?
All of our products are to be given orally or topically depending on your + your pet’s preferences. Each product’s packaging will include proper instructions for administration/application.
How often should I reward my pet with a Whiskerly product?
You can treat your pet with these products as often as you’d like, but we highly suggest following our guidelines with the recommended dosage by weight. Often times, improvements will take more than one or two treatments. To help mitigate pain, give approximately every 8 hours. For other uses—or to break undesired behavior patterns—give once or twice per day. Our products are safe to use, cruelty-free, pesticide-free, grain-free, gluten-free, human-grade, and easy to administer.
Are Whiskerly products legal?
In the U.S., CBD derived from industrial hemp is considered a dietary supplement and is legal to purchase and ship nationwide. All of our industrial hemp growers in north carolina and Texas are in full compliance with their respective state as well as full federal compliance with §7606 of the 2014 US Farm Bill.
Will whiskerly products get my pet ‘high’?
This is a common misconception regarding CBD consumption. CBD is the non-psychoactive side component of cannabis, and it will not get you or your pet ‘high’. our products do not contain psychoactive THC.
Should I purchase treats or tinctures for my pet?
Both treats and tinctures contain full-spectrum CBD, so it’s your choice as to which product is most convenient for you. Treats are administered orally while tinctures may be administered either orally or added to their current food and/or treats.
What is the proper dosage for my pet?

What are the known side effects of giving Whiskerly products to my pet?
Unless your pet has an allergy to any of the listed ingredients listed on our product labels, there are no side effects associated with Whiskerly products other than drowsiness.
According to the FDA’s website regarding cannabis-derived cannabinoids (CBD): “Signs that your pet may be suffering adverse effects from ingesting cannabis may include lethargy, depression, heavy drooling, vomiting, agitation, tremors, and convulsions.”

Can I give Whiskerly products to my pets if they’re taking other medications?
Yes! Our products are safe for your pet while they’re taking other medications. We do advise that you consult with a licensed veterinarian prior to starting a CBD … if you’re concerned. Always trust your instincts regarding your fur baby’s health and well-being.
Are hemp-derived vs. marijuana-derived cannabinoids the same thing?
Quick answer: yes. CBD is CBD, be it from hemp or marijuana. A significant amount of THC is found in marijuana—which causes the “high” feeling—but it’s usually pretty low in the non-psychoactive cannabinoids such as CBD or CBG. Hemp plants are a much better source of CBD than marijuana plants.
